Our Philosophy:  Redeemer Preschool exists to meet what we feel is a genuine need
in our area in terms of assisting parents in the early and influential years of their child's
development.  We see our school program as a positive influence on the social and
mental development of the children who participate, and offer this guidance in a
spiritual and worship setting.

The teaching, caring, and guiding that is offered here is done with a perspective on life
that reflects faith in God, who both loves and blesses His children.  Therefore, in that
context, we present teaching about God from both the Old and New Testament,
emphasizing His nearness and concern for our well-being.

Our program is diversified, offering science, games, library, educational films, music,
religion, tumbling, and class trips.  It is designed to promote the growth of the child
physically, mentally and spiritually.

We emphasize "What is true?" "What is real?" "What is beautiful?" "What is good?" And
most important, we help your child answer the question, "Who am I?"  The total school
environment is one which creates the experience of Christian concern and love.

Licensing:  Redeemer Preschool is a fully licensed Preschool and holds certification
of approval from the New Jersey Department of Education.

Enrollment:  The school is open to preschool children of all faiths, who reach the age
of 3 or 4 by October 1st of the current year of enrollment.  Redeemer admits students
of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.

Registration:  A non-refundable registration fee of $55.00, plus one month's tuition, is
required upon registration of your child.  If your child completes the school year, the
tuition deposit will be applied to June.

Tuition:  The school program goes on, and cost of operation prevail, whether the child
attends regularly or has frequent absences.  There is a late fee for one month in
arrears.

The tuition rate is for the total year.  It may be prepaid or divided into ten monthly
installments.  Each month's payment is not tuition for that particular month, but part of
the whole year's tuition.  One tenth is due in August for September, one tenth is due in
September for October, etc.  Some months will naturally contain more school days then
others.

All tuition payments should be made out to Redeemer Preschool and brought in
personally to the Director.

3 year old - 2 day program                   $150 per month
4 year old - 4 day program                   $205 per month
4 year old - extended 4 day program   $275 per month

Health:  A medical form is to be completed before entrance into school.  The state of
New Jersey requires proof of immunization for Polio, Measles, Rubella, Mumps, Hib,
and Hep B.  Our school does not administer medication unless it is an ongoing life
threatening situation, and written approval has been given by the parent and a doctor.
(ex. Bee sting allergy, Asthma.).

Clothing:  Children should be dressed simply and comfortably.  Clothes should be
washable and easy for the child to handle.  Play clothes are perfect.

Snacks:  A healthy snack is provided each day.  Often a special snack is prepared in
circle, so children can see how it is made.  Birthday treats are also encouraged.  Our
school is peanut and nut free.

Field Trips:  Pre-K children will go on 4 or 5 educational field trips a year.  Three-year
olds will go on three trips per year.  Special times during the year someone will come to
the school for a special visit and learning experience.

Library:  Each week the children will receive a library book to be used until the
following week.  The parents are responsible for its care and if lost or damaged will pay
for its replacement.

School Closings:  Tune to the local radio stations, 102.3 FM; 103.7 FM or 1360 AM
or 1023wsus.com for school closings or delays.

School Calendars:  It will closely follow the Sussex County school calendar.

You are welcome to visit our school and observe the children and staff at work.  Feel
free to call for an appointment or for more information.  Our number is 973-383-0217.
There is a parent get-together in the fall and a conference in the spring.  Parents may
ask for a special conference at any time during the school year.
